Ensure on-time payments and submissions for VAT, PAYE, UIF & SDL returns, EMP501 reconciliation twice yearly, Workmen Compensation Fund management, UFiling submissions, and payments/submissions to industry-related institutions.

Payroll Administration & Processing

Efficiently process monthly time sheets or clock cards, timely payroll payment requests to payment officer, deliver monthly payslips to employees via email or by hand, manage personnel leave upon request.

 

Maintain accurate personnel records in compliance with Basic Conditions of Employment Act 75 of 1997, register new employees with UIF and related institutions/unions, and handle terminations.

Financial & Tax Management

Deliver monthly management reports within agreed timeframes, create detailed quarterly cash flow forecasts, prepare financial reports comparing actual expenditure to forecasts. 

 

Collaborate with clients to develop annual budgets, lead tax planning initiatives including VAT matters, ensure compliance with all statutory financial requirements, coordinate external audit arrangements and manage the audit process.

 

Implement and enforce finance policies, procedures, and systems.

Human Resource Management

Provide support and record-keeping for disciplinary proceedings of employees, attend disciplinary hearings when required, and ensure compliance with the labor laws of South Africa.
